November 2023 Art Haul

November was a fun month for getting new art supplies. As well as picking up a couple of supplies from Jacksons Art, I also popped into my local art shop here in the Netherlands, so that I had just what I wanted for a trip to Paris.

Below is a selection of supplies bought at my local Van Beek art shop. I wasn’t impressed with the Paint On sketchbook from Clairefontaine – it ended up being a lot more expensive than I thought it was advertised as in store. Sigh.

The Conté crayons I picked up as I though I would enjoy using them during an art workshop in Paris but I ended up not taking them with me due to the weather being so miserable and the lack of ‘landscape’ in Paris. They just didn’t feel like a set I’d use for urban sketching in the city of love.
